This term we have been learning about art. We learnt about Cubism, Starry Night, Impressionism, and Graffiti.
I learnt a lot about paint brush technique to help us with our Starry Night. And my favourite one was Graffiti.
Soon I shall show you my art pieces.
We had to work hard and it was really hard for me and others but I am proud of myself

my proud moment is this term is done a good job of writing my draft speech and i am pretty proud of it . 

my proud moment this term would be master chef i think we made really yummy chips and drink also gingerbread man .

my proud moment this term is trying out for pirongia's got talent i was so scared and nervous of singing in front of my team and class and Mrs Cullen and Mrs Austin.

my proud moment this term was doing the science fair i think i could have done better and i felt good though!!

inquiry 2016

 MY Inquiry question this year is :how is a new planet formed ?

A new planet is formed by a cloud that has clasped and then forms the shape of disk and from all the dust and grain i know right and then the star gathers all that and rocks from outer space and then gets pulled together and forms a planet named whatever it is like : Nora to vale to i don't know ? I did have some trouble with the materials and I wished I had a better project to present and I did have a different picture in mind

on the 26 on Friday, it was swimming sports.splash as I dive into my breast stroke I speed to the finish line , whew I came 2nd I am glad I came a place in breast stroke I just cant believe it.indeed I did,in the others I did not come a place,but I came no place in the others so sad.I was cold and wet,and I did not like it one single bit,not at           all.I liked swimming sports,when it came to the finals I almost got 3rd.

Noho 2016

                                    A Camp At The Noho

2016 wow this is gonna be a terrific year and I had the best overnight stay at the Noho. All the historic moari men and women I like this place or palace I should say ill show you a pic soon,as we set up I take a look at the boys  room wow I should say a mattress palace. Charlotte,Courtney,and a lot more including me went and have fun in the girls room that,were we 'll be staying for the night and chat about ..... and other stuff  that us girls talk about.At morning tea time we got to have some baking with our morning tea in our lunchbox as we chat and chat someone let of a stinker and then we all laughed,when we finished up . We speed like cheetah's trying to caught prey to weaving I have got a pic right here of my and some friend .When I did bone carving I drawer a korou  but sadly  I did  not get to start carving, because everyone did not take turns and keep hogging the carving tools, so I drawer other ideas I had in mind.My dad has carving tools so I can carve at my house (awesome).

                                        CAMP WAS AWESOME 

rarako stick was fun we work in pairs of two ,and then we played along to the groovy song.We had lots of fun with everyone else,also I had been buddy with Olivia.We did a waita and we will be preforming at assembly and will be practicing each day at school.

Hi my name is Talia and I am a year six and in room 8 this year I am going to achieve lots and lots of thing this year.I want to achieve being a great role model by being a good leader to tawa and rata team and that they learn well like I have,from being with Mrs judge to Mr gemell and Mr gemell again and what a year it is going to be for 2016.My big thing this year I want to achieve being a great year six, this year I have been to the noho and it was lots of fun.later on in 2016 we are going to the snow for our camp and I am super pump for whoo,and many other thing happening.more achievement I want to make this term and the rest of the year and I am ready I want to take on challenges like a obstacle course,going round and up and down like I am on a roller coaster at the gold coast.This upcoming Friday we have a triathlon  on the 18th  2016.

hi this term in kahekatia team we have been doing technology and our -motto- was find a need fill a need.Jade and I are making pencil holder s for the two tables  cause they are messy and by i mean messy I acually meant what I said.I wish I could show you but my teacher has something to connfess himmself

This term it has been spectacular, I have signed up for road patrol.I was a bit to scared during training for road patrol,but in the end it turn out well. Athletics!!was fun as we had long jump,shot put and plenty more .guess what i came third for  high jump.I also went to water world wee,going into the water is fun from a high diving boards.on Tuesday 8th there is sports camp and I was to late to grab a form kids were racing  and even if I did get one probably I would not be able to go.I think that I should go now.
